COODLIE PARK
ECO-COTTAGES

Set among coastal mallee bushland on South Australia’s wild West Coast Eyre Peninsula, our Eco-Cottages offer a comfortable, self-contained stay for travellers who want to slow down, switch off, and reconnect with nature. Perfect for couples, families, friends, and travellers seeking a peaceful base between Venus Bay and Elliston, each cottage provides the creature comforts of home while keeping you close to the natural beauty, wildlife, and dark night skies that make Coodlie Park so special.

Our cottages are designed for relaxed country stays, with private indoor spaces, cosy bedding, kitchen facilities, bathroom amenities, heating, television, WiFi, and thoughtful touches to help you settle in with ease. Whether you are here for a coastal escape, a stargazing adventure, a fishing trip, a family getaway, or a quiet retreat in nature, the Eco-Cottages offer a warm and welcoming place to rest after a day exploring the region.

Surrounded by 500 acres of coastal bushland, Coodlie Park is home to abundant birdlife, native wildlife, farm animals, Bortle 1 dark skies, and peaceful walking spaces. By day, guests can explore nearby beaches, rockpools, cliffs, caves, sand dunes, conservation parks, and local coastal towns. By night, our unpolluted dark skies come alive with the Milky Way, constellations, planets, meteor showers, and, when conditions align, the magical glow of the Aurora Australis.

Staying in our Eco-Cottages means enjoying comfort without losing connection to the landscape. Coodlie Park Eco Retreat is proudly off-grid and sustainability focused, using solar power, rainwater, waste reduction systems, composting, refillable amenities, and recycled or repurposed materials wherever possible. We believe that travel can be comfortable, memorable, and gentle on the environment.

Guests are also welcome to book seasonal Coodlie experiences, including guided stargazing, astrophotography sessions, nocturnal wildlife walks, animal feeding experiences, and nature-based activities, depending on availability and weather conditions.

Whether you are chasing stars, seeking stillness, exploring the coastline, or simply needing a cosy place to land, our Eco-Cottages invite you to embrace nature’s playground and experience the beauty of Coodlie Park at your own pace.
